A silent war is simmering in the studio and Network Exec 1 is stressed. Rumor has it that Network Exec 2 is itching for heads to roll – including NE1’s.

File this one under Anatomy of a Rumor: At the press con for her new ABS-CBN show “Alyna,†Shaina Magdayao had to address the wild rumor concerning her alleged hospital visit due to a bedroom mishap (discreetly called “vag lock†in a Net report).
She was “sad†that this “outrageous†rumor had spread like wildfire. She said the tattle tale might be traceable to an episode of “Grey’s Anatomy,†a US medical drama. “The rumor-mongers watch too much TV,†she said. “Why would John Lloyd (Cruz) and I go to a public hospital when we are celebrities?â€

Dingdong’s defense
Dingdong Dantes rushed to defend girlfriend Marian Rivera, who is under fire for purportedly maltreating “Endless Love†co-star Bela Padilla. Marian is allegedly jealous, Bela being close to Dingdong.
Dong sent a lengthy text message to the press, which read in part: “I am saddened by the false accusations... which I feel are unfair and... totally blown out of proportion... I will be behind [Marian], beside her, and even in front of her, in fulfilling her dreams... Our relationship is at its strongest... From hereon, we will direct our attention to more important matters.†(We bet this is helping the ratings.)
